UGC NET Syllabus 2017 Complete Details
The test will be divided into 3 phases, every phase should be clear by the students. If anyone will not clear the first phase then the other phases papers will not be analyzed by the exam checkers.
UG NET Syllabus Overview:
Paper I: The first paper is common for all applicants. This paper will be created to check the verbal ability of the scholars.
It is designed to check the test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. Appliers, applied in any subject should be facing this paper and should clear to move into next level.
There are 60 multiple choice questions out of which 50 questions are compulsory to attend. The 50 are a choice of students.
Paper II: The paper 2 will be subjective type.
There will be 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet provided along with the Test Booklet.
Paper III: This paper will contain the questions from the subject selected and filled from in the qualified subject.
It will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate.
Candidates are required to attempt questions in the space provided in the Test Booklet neatly.
